Sam Carlson Thomas Rod Co. One-Piece Bamboo Rod 5'6" 1/1 #5For sale here is a one piece hexagonal bamboo rod built by Sam Carlson in the late 1950s after he purchased the Thomas Rod Company. This rod is next to impossible to find and possibly is the only one that exists. The script on the rod reads "Thomas Rod Co. #1103 5 1 2". This rod has all of the trademarks of Sam's rods, including burgundy wraps with offset red and black staggered wraps, medium flamed cane and a high gloss varnish. It is as straight as
