Hardy St. George 3 3/8" Fly ReelFor sale here is a Hardy St. George 3 3 8 inch fly reel with three screw latch from the 1950's. Enameled finish. All original and in excellent condition throughout. Unmolested ribbed brass foot and duplicated MKII check. The reel has no significant wobble or end play. Nickel silver line guard. Wonderful condition ebonite handle spins freely. Tension regulator works as intended. Nice strong check throughout its range.

The cigar grip shows some ridging as can be seen in the photos

but all of the hardware seems true to when the rod was made

The truncated Swiss-style ferrules feature the same engraving seen on the reel seat
