Parker, Jon - 8' 2/2 6wt Bamboo RodFor sale here is a Jon Parker bamboo rod 8' 2 2 for a 6 weight line. Excellent+ condition. 5 3 8 oz. Nice up locking nickel silver reel seat over a maple spacer; very powerful medium fast action. A very nice rod from a very well respected builder. Some of the wraps have a "frosting" effect but this is only cosmetic as none of the silks are loose or cracking. Overall, this is a very fine example of Jon's work and a very nice casting 6 weight rod.

This reel and others come from William Young's estate

Just about the only negative about this rod (and I'm probably being a little over-scrupulous here) is that there are some very small digs in the cork from where the snake guides have pressed into it while the rod was in the tube

The spigot ferrule fits nice and tight with a slight gap to allow for wear
