Aquamarine is a form of Beryl crystal long sought after as a gem and precious stone due to its beautiful blue-green hue and clarity

Due to its incredibly vivid and deep coloration

The “Benz” part of the name comes from the tip of some calcite crystals which have a clearly defined three-pointed star of pyrite

in iron smelting and other metallurgy

These incredible collector’s pieces – each one of a kind – feature massive semitransparent calcite crystals

or chemical cleaning agent

and is one of the more common gems although pieces of exceptional hue and clarity are considered fairly rare and can be extremely valuable

Each contains at least one (most several) clearly visible insect

This preglabellar ring (head shield) is covered in many sensory pits which may have held hairlike features when the trilobite was alive

so much that the local tribes people used to use these mudstones as currency in trade and other daily life
