Lot 140 - Antique Tintype Photograph Of Young Man In Velvet And Metal Frame, 3-1/4" x 4-1/2"This is a Tintype photograph depicting a young man seated, wearing a dark suit with white collar. The photograph is housed in a frame featuring burgundy velvet with embossed silver colored metal corner decorations. The image is set behind an oval brass mat and cover glass. The frame originally had an easel back but the kickstand is missing. Frame shows wear, separation at edges, and handling marks consistent with age and use. Photograph shows surface

though the stripes do have some wear from years of use
