Antique Trinket or Jewelry Box Wooden Inlay Inlaid Wood Marquetry Tunbridge Late 1800's Original Lined with Pink VelvetThis is an original antique wooden tunbridge marquetry inlaid wood jewelry box from the late 1800's. It measures 7 1 2 inches in length, 5 inches in width and 3 inches in height. It would have once locked but it no longer has a key and the escutcheon plate is missing. The inside bottom is lined with pink velvet. It has some wear as photographed due to age and use. It is still a very useful box.
They are made of Bisque Ceramic Pottery and Made in Germany
It is made of wood and has been hand painted
The rim is hallmarked but the marks are faint so I am not able to make out the year it was made
It measures 6 inches in height and 4 1/2 inches in diameter
Shipping will be much cheaper if you do not want the frame
It has gorgeous brass metal repoussé relief ladies on the front and top
The top has holes for flowers to be arranged inside
She measures 8 inches or 20cm tall
