Antique Brass Bookends Book Ends Horse Racing Race Equestrian Horses Victorian Late 1800's Original Pair Set of 2 Titled The RaceThis is a wonderful pair of original antique Victorian horse racing gold brass metal bookends from the late 1800's. They have two horse jockey's on horses racing side by side and the front says The Race. They are stamped on the back, Rd. No. 751245. They measure 6 1 4 inches in height, 6 1 2 inches in depth and 4 1 2 inches in width. They are in great condition. They are quite heavy for their size and are very well made.
It is stamped by the maker on the bottom but I cannot make out who it is and it is also hand numbered 252
It measures 4 inches in height not including the top handle and 4 1/2 inches in diameter
They have a lever at the bottom to push the candles out of the top once they burn down
They are made of sterling silver and green guilloche enamel and are hallmarked HCD with the Birmingham makers mark and date mark E
2 inches in height of the heels and 1 inch in width
it measures 17 1/2 inches square
It is signed on the bottom
They are really interesting
This cup measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches in height
It measures 2 3/4 inches or 7 cm in length
This is a lovely original vintage Scottish tartanware needle case
It measures 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter
