Per Brandin Model 834-2 DF 8'3" 2/2 #4For sale here is a Per Brandin hollow built six strip (hex) bamboo rod. 8'3 for a 4 weight line. Rod weighs 3. 14 oz. Two sections with two tips. Made in 2011. From Per's description of this taper, "At 8'3" and a #4 line, this rod fills the need for a longer rod for spring creeks and smaller flies, but still with a very positive action. It has become the rod of choice for me and several other very experienced anglers on rivers such as the Henry's Fork

and includes a 3/0 marking on it and serial number P481 dating the reel to 1923

The varnish is exquisite

The action is medium-fast best suited for a DT6 line in my opinion

Ferrules are size 10/64 and 15/64 and the ferrule fit is excellent

Powell-style grip measures 5 1/2" in length with very light soiling
