Bellinger-Saracione 3 1/4" Fly Reel - NarrowFor sale here is a 3 1 4" Bellinger Saracione (narrow) fly reel in unused condition. Spool width is 5 8" and the reel weighs 6. 2 oz. Serial #049. Joe recently changed the reel from RHW to LHW. These bench made reels have german silver protective side bands and delrin sideplates. Artfully bolstered cross pillars are german silver, as is the counter balance, winding arm washer cup, and knurled oil cap. Comes with original box, Arne Mason leather reel
The guide wraps are clear with fine red edging at the ferrules and stripping guide
a very limited edition of these gems was made in a machine shop in Winsted
The Bass Bug model was one of the three special rods Payne offered in the 1950's to 1970's
