Antique Clear Cut Glass Jar with Silver Relief Top Lid Vanity Victorian Late 1800's OriginalThis is an original antique Victorian vanity jar from the late 1800's. It is made of clear cut glass and has a silver top with an ornate relief. I am not sure if the lid is sterling silver or silver plated as I do not see a hallmark. It measures 2 3 4 inches in height and 2 3 4 inches in diameter. There is a shield on the top that can be monogrammed or engraved. It is in good condition especially considering it is well over 100 years old.
The cow bone inlay has a small chip on the corner as photographed and the very bottom of the box has a small crack but this cannot be seen inside and can only be seen when you turn it upside down
I am not sure what wood it is made of but it is gorgeous
Including the frame
It has scalloped / pinched edges and measures 5 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches in height
It measures 2 1/2 inches in height including the top and 2 inches in diameter
It has glass eyes and embroidered nose and mouth
It has a porcelain dial and the frame body is cast iron metal
3 inches in width and 4 inches in height
They need a good polish and are in very good condition for their age
The side is a beautiful wood handle
This is a set of 2 original antique Victorian copper metal round serving trays or platters from the 1800's
It measures 10 3/4 inches in length
