Hardy Princess Lightweight Series Fly Reel - Green 3"For sale here is a scare green Hardy Princess fly reel in very good condition. Made between 1953 and 1957. Reversible retrieve direction. Tensioner works great. Diameter 3". The 3" green Princess reels are extremely difficult to find.

For sale here is a very rare first model Edward Vom Hofe Model 423 fly reel (before it was called the Restigouche model beginning circa 1911)

The neat design of the original Bougle combines with the appealing tear-drop porting to produce a reel that deserves to be in any collection

Stamped X throughout

which is difficult to photograph and doesn't affect the reel's performance

The rod features Bakelite impregnated cane with transparent caramel colored wraps and bright guides

and an external oil pipe from bearing to rim

All sections of the rod are full length and straight

dating back to 1850

Excellent++ condition throughout

There is a 1" invisible repair wrap on one of the tips 19" down from the tip-top
