Very few of these reels remain due to their heavy use and fragile nature and fewer remain in pristine condition as this one we are offering for sale. The original tip is dead straight
The Leonard cartouche is stamped with "The Leonard Rod
The rod remains in like new condition
A neat reel for the bookshelf
The erinoid handle remains in sound and free-spinning condition
Classic cigar grip 5" in length with very light ridging present
Darker straw-colored cane with bright red wraps and full intermediates
The full wells grip measures 5 7/8" in length and features a rather straight taper
No cane is exposed however
Diameter is 3 1/4"
It was simply the result of me cleaning the reel
