Regency Colonial Padouk Open Armchair, possibly Anglo-ChineseA rare Regency period colonial open armchair in solid padouk, made for English market, Possibly Anglo Chinese, circa 1825. Having a curved and scrolled top rail, the pirced and carved back splat, between the reeded and scrolled armrests on turned and reeded supports, above the finely caned drop in seat, within the solid seatrails, raised on turned and reeded front legs and outswept back sabre legs. A squab cushion can be made to buyer's taste.
