Samplers, sewing exercises used to teach and perfect needlework skills, have been standard practice for centuries but are particularly associated with early American craft. We reproduced the sampler's pink, green, and yellow border along the hem and side seam of these trousers, which have a mid rise and a straight leg. All beading
