Lot 144 - Pair of Antique Hand Planes Including a Wooden Smoothing Plane with Charles Buck Cast Steel Blade and a Cast Iron Block Plane with Wooden KnobPair of antique hand planes. The larger is a wooden smoothing plane with a wedged iron blade stamped "Charles Buck," "Cast Steel," and "Warranted." It also has a small bone insert on the underside. The smaller is a cast iron block plane with a wooden knob. The wooden plane shows overall wear, surface scratches, and staining, with oxidation to the blade. The block plane body is in solid condition with wear to the wooden knob.
