Orvis Battenkill 7'6" 2/1 5-6 wt Bamboo RodFor sale here is a 7'6" 2 1 Orvis Battenkill impregnated bamboo rod. Labeled for a #6 line but casts best with a #5 in my opinion. Serial #44997. The rod is in excellent condition overall. Original bag and labeled tube. Ferrules are size 12 64 and the fit is excellent. Aluminum down locking reel seat. The rod weighs 3 7 8 oz.
These flies are extremely nicely tied
This could easily be cleaned though
Wraps are a light amber with brown edges and dark brown at ferrules
and the ferrules are 15/64 with an excellent fit
The slide band ring is done with the tiny convex scallops leading to the fine coin knurl edges
"TAG" on frame stands for Hardy reel-maker Thomas Armstrong
Includes a replacement bag and original tube
