Winston Perfect 3 3/8" Fly Reel - mintFor sale here is a 3 3 8" Winston Perfect in mint condition. Made by Hardy Bros. of England. Comes with all of the original paperwork, pouch and box, all in excellent condition.
This rod was apparently made in the late 1950s before Carlson started inking the serial number on his rods
along with the original Garue aluminium tube
The rod only weighs 3 1/8 ounces
known as a Bakelite rod in the Orvis rod database
or line burns
The reel diameter is 3" with a spool diameter of 11/16"
Comes with rod bag with a wooden stiffener and the hanging tag reads "Quad
'58 Second flat: M
his rendition of the classic Paul Young Perfectionist taper
along with a prior owner's initials on the tube case as well
