The rod weighs 4 5 8 oz with the up locking reel seat over spanish cedar spacer. A classic Payne rod with the "Made for Abercrombie & Fitch Co." die stamp on the up locking ring, along with the Payne die stamp. The rod is wrapped brown with gold edges. The grip is western style and has been cleaned with no ridging present. Complete with ferrule plugs. No hang

The owner came by this rod by winning a Cast-A-Winston contest some years ago – he ended up trading a number of the graphite prize rods for this excellent bamboo piece
