This is on Chinese paper measuring approx 30x30cm and has been mounted using the authentic Japanese wet mounting technique which uses a simple flour and water paste and requires a period of around 24 hours to dry and stretch

I don't really see myself as a portrait artist but as a figurative artist

The hand-torn edges are intentionally preserved and best displayed float mounted to showcase the raw edge gallery-style presentation

So the wet mounting is to flatten the print
