麵包店前面的馬路不平，行人和車輛經過都很危險，工程人員開始修馬路了。他們封路、畫切割線、刨除地面，挖土機把刨下來的瀝青混凝土倒進卡車帶走。傾卸車從採石場運來新的砂石，鋪在路面上，平路機把砂石壓平，鐵輪壓路機把砂石壓得很結實，膠輪壓路機再澆水滾壓，然後噴灑乳化瀝青，讓每一個石頭都黏得緊緊的。汽車輾過去，還會發出ㄎㄚ ㄉㄚ ㄎㄚ ㄉㄚ的聲音。傾卸車運來瀝青混凝土，鋪裝機再把它們鋪在路面，不整齊的邊緣用鏟子清乾淨。趁著路面正熱，鐵輪壓路機壓過馬路，膠輪壓路機再壓過一次，軟軟的瀝青混凝土涼了以後，就變得很堅固了。工程人員鑽個洞，檢查看看品質好不好。最後再用道路畫線機畫上白線，就大功告成。有平整的馬路可以使用，大家都很輕鬆。謝謝辛苦的的施工叔叔們。
