WINTER SETTLES INLiving where I do in BCs interior, I am surrounded by many ranches, and I love sketching and painting the many historic structures dotting the landscape. I remember the smell of weathered logs and hay as well as leather in the log barn at a ranch I worked at as a horse guide, years ago. This sketch showcases an old, weathered barn on a cold winter day and I love the pink cerulean combo in the sky. I feel I can wrap my style around such subject matter.
