Priscacara/Cockerellites LiopsThis is a small Priscacara Cockerellites Liops is an uncommon fish from the split fish layer in the mid lake region of the Green River Formation of Fossil Lake in Wyoming the fossil fish in this area have a rich dark red brown color and a more pronounced preservation than the near shore split fish layer. This specimen is approximately 3 3 4 long on a nice natural non trimmed piece of lake bottom silt stone that is 9x5. It does have a small fracture

I dug this at the PolkA Dot mine in Central Oregon

It is fully polished and ready for display

The material was too hard to run through their rock crushers so it was considered waste and Ocean Breeze Jasper was found
